Banana - Wheat Quick Bread

This is a super yummy way to use your ripe bananas. The crust is crisp and the inside is soft and flavorful.

BANANA - WHEAT QUICK BREAD

2 c. flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 thinly sliced ripe bananas
1/3 c. butter, softened
3 tbsp. orange juice
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped walnuts


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour a loaf pan. In a medium bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients together, set aside. In large bowl, blend the "wet ingredients together. Slowly stir in the dry mix. When blended, beat mixture 3 minutes at medium speed with a hand mixer. Pour into greased pan. Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until done. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes, then remove from pan. Cool and enjoy!
