Simple Banana Nut Bread

I revamped my Banana Nut Bread recipe a bit, making it healthier.  Hope you love it.

Simple Banana Nut Bread


  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. thinly sliced ripe bananas
  • 1/3 c. Canola oil
  • 3 tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bread pan. In large bowl, blend all ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Pour into  pan. Bake 60 to 65 minutes or until done.  Cool on rack for 5 minutes, remove from pan to finish cooling.
